We are open to submissions!
Submissions for our first issue of Small Tales are open as of March 28, 2011, and will close on May 31, 2011.
We accept any genre of fiction except erotica and poetry, up to 5000 words. Please submit only one story.

E-mail your submission (please, NO attachments!) -- paste as text into the e-mail-- to:

There is never a charge to submit. However, we do ask that the submission be previously unpublished.
Once all submissions are in, the Small Tales Editorial Board will go through each and let you know after May 31 if your submission will be included in the first issue. A "Best Story" prize of a $25 Amazon gift card will be awarded to the story deemed best by the Editorial Board.
Rights
We do not hold copyright over your story if published. If your work is published in Small Tales, you are free to publish it elsewhere, but we ask that you credit the work being published in Small Tales.
Small Tales is not a publisher, nor a literary agency.
Editorial help
The Small Tales Editorial Board reserves the right to edit stories, in coordination with authors, for grammar, spelling, and structure. However, the Board does not provide critiques or feedback on the
stories and won't be able to help shape a story.
